Browse operation introduced to locate 2 boat travelers in Maluku

Ambon, Maluku – A search operation was performed on Monday to locate two passengers of a wooden motorboat, locally called “perahu ketinting,” that capsized in the waters of Pulau Kelang, Seram Bagian Timur District, Maluku, on Nov 8.

The search objective for finding Firmansyah Tomia, 19, and Wahid Tomia, 18, was undertaken by the Namlea Search and Rescue Firm’s workers after getting a report on the missing people, Head of the Ambon SAR Firm Djunaidi specified here, Monday.

” We dispatch the search group to act on a report filed by one of the victims’ loved ones called Satria Tomia,” he specified.

Firmansyah Tomia and Wahid Tomia boarded the conventional motorboat together with their friend, 19- year-old Rizal. Nevertheless, Rizal endured the sea accident that happened en path from the Pilar Luhutabang Hamlet in Manila Island to Kelang Island on Sunday night.

The rescue workers boarded 2 stiff inflatable boats to perform the search operation. They were helped by volunteers and relatives of the missing individuals.
