Neighborhood Urged Cops to Expose Area of Laman Kinipan Community Chief

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta The National Commission for Agrarian Reform Union (KNPA) prompted the Central Kalimantan cops to announce the location of the Laman Kinipan indigenous neighborhood chief Effendi Buhing, who was arrested by the authorities on Wednesday, August 26,2020

The KNPA claimed that Effendi’s lawyer is yet to be informed about where the neighborhood chief is being held.

” We still do not understand about the location of Pak Buhing,” stated Dimas Novian Hartono, Executive Director of the Central Kalimantan Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WALHI), in a virtual interview on Thursday, August 27,2020

Moreover, Secretary-General of the Indigenous Peoples Alliance of the Archipelago (AMAN) Rukka Sombolinggi required the cops to remain open about the chief’s whereabouts and strongly criticizes the Central Kalimantan Police Chief who declares that Effendi refused to be cooperative throughout the police questioning.

Rukka Sombolinggi asserts that Effendi deserves to be accompanied by a lawyer through his cops questioning and needs cops to remain cooperative with others who attempt to protect the Laman Kinipan indigenous neighborhood chief.

” Tell us, show us where he is because nothing requires to be hidden from us,” Rukka asserts.
