Satpol PP Raid Popular Tourist Site Puncak Villas amid Pandemic Restriction

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta The Bogor regency’s Satpol PP (public order agency) on Sunday have sealed ten villas and homestays in Cisarua – located in the popular West Javan tourism staycations of Puncak – over violations of the ‘post-PSBB adaptation period.’

Head of the Bogor Satpol PP, Agus Ridhollah, announced that the businesses were not only sealed but were also handed firm warnings for owners of the villas. 

“We were informed by [activity of the business] from local law enforcers stating that owners had rented their villas and homestays to the public,” said Agus on September 27.

The Bogor regent’s regulation No.60/2020 asserts that in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus, such businesses are barred from offering their villas and homestays to members of the public and are only permitted to be used by its respectful owners and administrators. 

This regulation applies to every similar business owner in Puncak specifically and the Bogor Regency in general. The satpol pp asserts that they will not hesitate to immediately seal and disperse thse that are caught violating that rule.
