Jakarta. A variety of private business are signing up with forces to construct a 500- bed isolation center for Covid-19 clients in East Jakarta, expected to end up being functional next week.
Named “Rumah Oksigen” (oxygen house), the facility is designed to provide direct acces to oxygen materials and medications for clients with moderate signs of Covid-19

” Ideally we can develop a comparable center in East Java, Central Java and other places. Business owners are fighters in this battle versus the pandemic and we should join to win,” Kadin Chairman Arsjad Rasjid stated.
The center is designated for patients with moderate symptoms of Covid-19 who require oxygen treatment. It’s located near the oxygen generation plant coming from Aneka Gas Industri in Jakarta’s commercial complex Pulo Gadung.
” Every bed is linked straight to the oxygen piping system of the factory,” GoTo CEO Andre Soelistyo said.
The facility is the second initiative by the economic sector aimed at helping ease federal government’s concerns in Covid-19 handling. Kadin has earlier collected services to fund vaccine procurement on their own and distribute doses amongst their workers for free.
