Authorities connect escorts 26 people trafficked to Myanmar back home

Jakarta – At least 26 Indonesians who allegedly fell victim to human trafficking in Myanmar have been repatriated to Indonesia under the escort of some parties, including a National Authorities (Polri) attaché.

” On Friday, May 26, 2023, at 2: 06 a.m regional time, some 26 Indonesian trafficked victims reached Soekarno-Hatta Airport from Don Muang Airport, Bangkok, accompanied by the Polri’s attaché,” head of the Polri’s Public Info Bureau, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, informed here on Friday.
