Sukoharjo, C Java – Youth and Sports Minister Dito Ariotedjo checked out the Indonesian National Paralympic Committee (NPC) athletes’ nationwide training center to observe the preparations of the athletes for the 12 th ASEAN Para Games (APG).
” We are proud of the Indonesian NPC professional athletes who will leave for the ASEAN Para Games Cambodia,” he remarked here on Monday.
He stated that he wished to see the positive energy and enthusiasm of the Indonesian professional athletes to once again become the overall champions of the local sporting occasion, as previously, Indonesia had emerged as the champ of the 11 th APG kept in Solo city, Central Java Province, in 2022.
He noted that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had targeted Indonesian NPC professional athletes to bag 123 gold medals in the 12 th APG which would be kept in Cambodia on June 3– 9, 2023.
The minister said he anticipates that apart from the athletes’ achievements, the organization of the Indonesian NPC along with the well-being of the professional athletes would increase.
” I hope that the getting involved Indonesian NPC athletes will be prepared physically, mentally, and spiritually,” he stated.
He stated he hoped that the professional athletes would continue to train efficiently and hope a lot so that they would be offered true blessings and luck to top the last medal table standings of the sporting occasion.
” The professional athletes should be happy to represent Indonesia,” Ariotedjo said.
He kept in mind that the preparations of the Indonesian contingent for the 12 th APG had actually reached around 95 percent.

Yudistia stated she believes that athletes with disabilities would be capable of winning, and there would be more professional athletes who would make Indonesia happy.
” The minister (Ariotedjo) has progressive programs. Let’s support athletes to be more confident in showing that Indonesia has extraordinary skill,” she included.
