Jakarta – Chief of the Presidential Personnel Moeldoko made it clear that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was the sole person to know about a cabinet reshuffle.
Moeldoko made the declaration in action to a press question relating to a report on a cabinet reshuffle.
” Just the president understands. The answer is simply one concerning the reshuffle that just the president understands, duration,” he informed the press after a field check out to the campus of the Indonesian International Islamic University (UIII) in Depok, West Java, on Tuesday.

The matter of reshuffling the cabinet appeared after a discourse to merge the Ministry of Education and Culture with the Ministry of Research and Innovation.
Another discourse emerged on establishing the Ministry of Investment as a brand-new structure in Jokowi’s cabinet line-up.
It is believed that a likely merger of ministries and the visit of a new minister would change the structure of the existing cabinet, thereby triggering a reshuffle.
