Soldiers’ kin members go through rapid tests at El Tari Airbase

The quick tests are carried out on wives, children, and housemaids staying together with the soldiers.

Kupang, E Nusa Tenggara – The El Tari Airbase in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara’s provincial capital, conducted fast tests on members of its soldiers’ families for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) medical diagnosis after its 324 soldiers were earlier based on comparable tests.

” After having performed rapid tests on active members, today, we will go door-to-door to carry out fast tests on members of their households,” Leader of the El Tari Airbase Colonel Bambang Juniar Djatmiko mentioned here on Saturday.

” The quick tests are conducted on spouses, kids, and housemaids remaining in addition to the soldiers,” he mentioned.

Djatmiko discussed that the door-to-door fast tests were being performed to avoid crowding of members of the soldiers’ families for taking them.

The airbase has likewise provided a space for COVID-19 evaluation for ensuring that all soldiers and members of their households do not contract COVID-19, he noted.

” The other day, 324 soldiers took quick tests, and today, we will carry out quick tests on members of their households,” he added.

In the meantime, the government is designating leading priority to vaccinating 1.5 million medical personnel versus the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Erick Thohir, chairperson of the Committee for COVID-19 Handling and National Economic Healing, stated..
” It must be made sure that these 1.5 million (health care employees) get the vaccine initially, as they are at the leading edge of immunization or mass vaccination,” Thohir, concurrently state-owned enterprises (BUMN) minister, mentioned after a conference with the Executive Board of the Indonesian Physicians Association (PB IDI) and the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) in Jakarta on Thursday (Sept 3).

Thohir mentioned that the figure was still being approximated. It is still being combined with the IDI, PPNI, and the Indonesian Midwives Association.

” Previously, we got the requirements for physicians and nurses, as there are doctors from various disciplines, such as pulmonologists and heart physicians,” he said.
