CGV Reopens 6 Cinemas in Bandung

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – CGV Cinemas has reopened six of its movie theaters on October 9, 2020, in Bandung, West Java. In its initial operation, the cinema will air an awaited sequel to “Train to Busan”, entitled “Peninsula”.

“The showtime at CGV cinemas will start at 12: 00. Its operational hours will adjust the operational hours of the department stores where CGV is located,” said the management in a press release issued by CGV Public Relations Harima Chalid on Saturday, October 10.

CGV would also air “Patients of a Saint,” “My Hero Academica: Heroes Rising,” and “Doraemon: Nobita’s Chronicle of the Moon Exploration.” Several other movies would be played gradually and the schedule would be announced through the firm’s official site.

The ticket price ranged from Rp40,000-Rp50,000 for the regular class.

CGV reopened its cinemas in Bandung after the local government issued permits for entertainment activities. The six movie theaters include CGV Paris Van Java, CGV Miko Mall, CGV BEC, CGV Paskal Shopping Center, CGV Metro Indah Mall, and CGV Kings Shopping Center.

The management implements health measures set by the Health Ministry, including the requirement to wear masks for the staff and visitors in all of the area of the movie theaters.

The officers will check the body temperatures of the visitors at the entrance. The management also limits the theater’s capacity to only 50% to maintain a safe distance.

Visitors must apply health protocols in the area of the cinema. Officers will periodically clean the area with disinfectant. CGV also called on the customers to book tickets, as well as the food and beverages, through digital payment.
