Covid-19 Cases Rising amongst Jakarta Traditional Markets Traders

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The Indonesian Market Traders Association (Ikappi) said there is an increasing number of traders in traditional markets exposed to Covid-19 As of June 15, another traditional market in Jakarta tape-recorded confirmed cases, bringing up the number of markets to nine.

The new cluster is West Jakarta’s Grogol Market. The number of positive cases in North Jakarta’s Serdang Market rose to 23 from simply 9 individuals 3 days bedore.

According to Ikappi chairman for subscriptions, Dimas Hermadiyansyah, the increase takes place nation-wide, not just in Jakarta. To date, there are 573 market traders who checked favorable for Covid-19, 32 have actually died.
